Kosher Snack Suggestions
Hillel is a kosher, nut-free school. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are milk days, and Tuesday and Thursday are meat days.
We have several students in the school who are severely allergic to nuts, and therefore we have a complete ban of nuts in our school. Please be aware of this and not only avoid sending snacks with nuts to school with your children, but wash their hands and faces before school if they have a breakfast with nuts products, such as peanut butter.
Occasionally, parents express frustration in finding appropriate kosher, nut-free snacks to send to school. You can consult the list below for suggestions:
