Lag Ba'Omer - Monday, May 3

Hillel Academy traditionally celebrates Lag Ba'Omer with a Sports day. The students have all been split into 1 of 4 inter-grade groups. They will be expected to dress in the colour of their group for Monday. The students will be told what colour they are to wear, but if they aren't certain, you can download the list of the teams, by colour, here ( Red, White, Blue and Green). This list is for grades 1 - 8.

The ADKs will be having their own special fun along side the rest of the school. Under the supervision of Morah Ann-Lynn, Marlene, Morah Zavaha, Kim and Donna, they will be doing their own set of relay races. They will also be divided into teams. Le Festival de Français !!

Hillel’s Theâtre Français is back again for a special performance during the French Festival and we would like to invite you to come and enjoy your child’s performance of their AIM play.

The festival de Français will be held from Wednesday May 5^th through to Friday May 7^th. The play performances for the grade 1 to 5 core French classes will take place on the Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Friday will be left open for you to come in and see all the amazing fun things we do during French class at Hillel.

As for the ADK, they would like to extend a special invitation to the parents. Come in and join us for a little sing-a-long and bingo time on Friday morning. ADK-C will be in French from 9:00 -10:15, ADK-R from 10:35 - 11:55. For the Grades 6, 7, 8 Core and Extended classes and grade 4 and 5 Extended, the open-door policy will be in place all three days of the French Festival.

The following is the schedule of when each class will be performing. Please note that we made every effort to accommodate parents by putting siblings on the same day. If by chance it did not work it out for you, know that we tried our best. Come and enjoy the hard work of your children. They are so proud and cannot wait to show off their acting skills.
